My Little Forest

I am happy to unveil the first part of mural project I am currently working on. For the project the client choose a woodland creature theme, with a subdued color pallet and requested that the mural begin a couple feet off the floor the prevent damage being that it is a high traffic child infested area. The size is about 5ftx 20 ft. I experimented with some new paints called Nova Color, they are a small company out of Culver city. I have to say I am in love, these acrylics were the best: great coverage, beautiful color and so, so affordabler. More photos of this project to come!

Wisdom called to me one day...

Just another random illustration... visitation by a giant talking owl! I doodled this sketch during one of the painfully boring 8 hours of my life, and consuming large amounts of sugar to keep me awake! Oh well survived that
Special thanks to Louis XV for lending me this beautiful frame!

Cotton Candy

This was done in acrylic on metal for an upcoming show at Back to the Grind in Riverside on Nov. 6th called" The Dime Show." from 6pm-11pm. Feel free to stop by if you are in the area. All the Artwork in the show will have a Circus type theme.

I have always been fascinated with the Circus, whether it Barnum and Baily or some little ghetto side show freak show! All those fancy costumes, wild animals and you can't forget the cotton candy, it's magical. The Pink elephant was definitely a Dumbo thing.

Gouge it out ... cut it off

This painting done in acrylic on wood was inspired by the truth that out of putting old things to death, God can create new life. Gospel of Matt. 5:29-30
